Firefighters arrived at the Delaware canal lagoon park on reports of an explosion and fire early Wednesday morning, according to the Bristol Consolidated Fire Company.
Fire crews found brush and trees burning along the railroad embankment, authorities said.
Due to the lack of space for large fire trucks, crews requested two brush trucks and an additional water line, authorities said.
Crews were on scene extinguishing the fire and hitting hot spots for about an hour.
